The oklad is marked on bottom edge. The marks are generally clear. The silver border with some surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use and with some minor warping where the panel has warped slightly. Each long edge with one fixing pin, which are probably later. The edges possibly originally gilt. The inside silver gilt border is probably earlier and runs the full size of the icon. There is a small area of damage around one fixing hole and to one bottom corner. Several of the fixing pins are lacking, though the icon underneath does not seem to have even had fixing pins fixed to it. The icon itself with discoloured varnish, crazing, losses and overpainting. The loss is most noticeable to the figure on the right of the icon. The panel is slightly warped.
