A Victorian Silver Vinaigrette-Cum Whistle, by Sampson Mordan and Co., London, Circa 1880, in the form of a horn, the hinged cover engraved with initials and opens to reveal the pierced hinged grille, the base with whistle, with suspension chain, 5cm wide, 9dwt, 14gr

Stamped 'S Mordan and Co London' and with design registration diamond inside cover. There is some overall surface scratching and wear as well as some bruises, consistent with age and use.
