An Amethyst and Diamond Necklace
the oval cut amethyst flanked by trefoil motifs comprising of round brilliant cut diamonds, suspending an amethyst briolette with a diamond set cap and conjoined by a similarly formed trefoil motif, in white claw and rubbed over settings, to a trace link chain, total estimated diamond weight 0.15 carat approximately

The necklace was valued for insurance purposes in 2009 at £1300. The necklace is in good condition. It fastens with a bolt ring catch. The clasp is stamped '750' and in our opinion would test as gold. The oval amethyst measures 13.87mm x 9.87mm x 7.65mm approximately. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour K/L/M, clarity SI1/SI2/I1. Gross weight 8.1 grams. CR made 20.11.23.
