Several areas of blue colour transfer to front, back and inside. Lower front lining panel extremely dirty, slightly dirty on front in same position. Silk overall good/fair condition. This bodice is likely to have been detached from it's skirt, was probably once an open robe (raw edges at rear where skirt has been removed). Apron - made in panels, lining in single piece, slightly grubby, very slight staining, generally sound.

Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
