oblong, the hinged with engine-turned lattice decoration, opens to reveal a grille pierced and engraved with foliage and flowers

Part marked inside base and cover. There is some minor wear to the marks, though they are still legible. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a minor softening to the decoration. The hinge closes flush.
