Circa 1920s Cream Silk Evening Top, with three quarter length sleeves, faux multi covered buttons to the bodice, printed with pink and blue flower heads and gold leaves, cream silk lining; silk chiffon top of similar date with pink chiffon scarf attachment; Chinese green brocade smoking jacket, a reversible robe and one other (5)

Floral silk jacket - 38" chest, several areas of discolouration overall and wear. Sleeveless top - 42" chest - possible stitched repairs to the sleeveholes. Green brocade robe - a thread pull to the back and slight wear, 44" chest. Yellow and black reversible robe - 54" chest, stain to the top of the neck on the gold side, some rubbing to embroidery. Cream brocade robe - missing belt tie, 58" chest, sleeve holes repaired, several tiny thread pulls and rubbing around the collar and edges.

Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.

Viewing

Wednesday 17 August - Thursday 18 August 10am-4pm, Friday 19 August 10am-5pm and morning of sale from 8am. Viewing is open to the public, there is no need to make an appointment.
