. The bodice has some repairs underneath the arms, and some wear overall, skirt shows some wear to the waistband, and stitched repairs. The bust measurement is 33, waist on the bodice is 24”, skirt waist is 26 “, the length from waist to hem at front of skirt is 41”. The skirt has repairs and patches/damage to the waistband and the waist seam. Overall, the silk appears in good condition. The bodice has had alterations under the arm. Possibly, to the top of the sleeve holes as well. The collar has had some stitch repairs and alterations. Also, the silk lining that attaches to it is torn. Couple of loose threads. We are happy to provide Condition Reports to prospective buyers, but would welcome your request as soon as possible, preferably at least 48 hours before the Day of Sale. Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
