Canada, a Collection of 20 x 19th Century Bronze & Copper Tokens comprising 11 x penny tokens including Nova Scotia ‘Mayflower’ penny 1856 & ‘Thistle’ token 1832, Quebec 1852, New Brunswick 1843 & the scarce Magdalen Islands penny 1815 & 9 x halfpenny tokens including Bank of Montreal 1844, New Brunswick 1843 (semi-regal token), 2 x ‘Canada’ tokens 1830 (issued by James Duncan, a Montreal merchant), ‘Ships Colonies & Commerce’ (struck in Birmingham & designed by Thomas Halliday) no ‘H’ on exergue line & a Nova Scotia imitation George IV ‘Thistle’ token 1832; a couple with verdigris stains o/wise generally Fine to VF (Magdalen Islands penny VG).
