. Checked jacket has some stitched repairs and slight rubbing. Cream floral jacket spotting to the cream flower heads overall button missing, and wear. Black ladybird jacket slight wear overall. Shirts and tops with some staining under each arm, little bit of discolouration overall, elasticated waist, there are a couple of holes to the net. White cotton muslin shirt it with some staining to the reverse and a couple of small holes, it's labelled the St Margaret, slight discolouration to the ends of the cuffs. White net top with repairs to the waistband some brown spot staining, a couple of small holes/areas where lace cuffs are rubbed. Cream silk short-sleeved shirt with several loose threads, the back of the right arm hole needs re-stitching, very slight staining under the arms and to the collar. Cream chiffon sleeveless top slight rubbing and wear overall. Two similar long sleeved shirts the cream one shows slight wear under the arms and slight rubbing over all; the pink one shows more rubbing to the silk, it's very rubbed and and some staining under the armpits, and there are several small holes to the back and to the top of the sleeves and overall wear.

We are happy to provide Condition Reports to prospective buyers, but would welcome your request as soon as possible, preferably at least 48 hours before the Day of Sale. We cannot guarantee a reply to any requests made within 48 hours of the start of the auction. The absence of a Condition Report from a lot does not mean that the lot is in perfect condition. All lots are available on public view ahead of an auction and we encourage prospective buyers to inspect an item in person where possible. Our Condition Reports are not prepared by professional conservators, restorers, or engineers, and are prepared with the naked eye unless otherwise stated.

Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
