Photograph of Prince Philip, in 1933, aged 12, shortly before he left Cheam School, lower corner signed 'Philip 1933', the rear is postcard format and the left side is inscribed 'All good wishes for Christmas and New Year. thank you for the letter', '11' to top right corner, approx 14cm x 8.5cm with deckle edge, blindstamp of Jos. Fischer, Konslanz to lower corner. The photograph appears to have been taken at the same time as one held in the Royal collection, the clothing and appearance is identical but the posture is different. The blindstamp is present on both.
