The brooch is in poor condition, some of the turquoise are discoloured and there are chips evident throughout the stones. It fastens with a pin and C-hook catch and features a later safety chain. It bears no hallmark nor stamp, in our opinion would test as silver and gold. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour J/K/L, clarity I1/I2/I3. Gross weight 11.2 grams. Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
