Two Novelty Brooches
both realistically modelled as spiders on yellow tapered bars, one comprising of a round cabochon opal and an oval synthetic ruby, in rubbed over settings, the other comprising of a round cut citrine and an oval sapphire, in millegrain settings
length 6.2cm and 7.5cm respectively

The brooches are in good condition with slight abrasion commensurate with age and wear. They both fasten with pin and C-hook catches. The opal example is stamped '15', the other is stamped '9CT' and in our opinion both would test as gold. Gross weight 16.6 grams. CR made 01.08.23.
