An Italian Silver-Mounted Fountain-Pen, Maker's Mark 285VA, The Clip stamped 'Germany', 20th Century, tapering and with an overall engine-turned finish, with plain clip, the nib engraved 'Iridium Point', 15cm long

Marked on edge of cap. The marks are generally clear. There is some surface scratching and wear overall, consistent with age and use. There are some shallow bruises. The thread which holds the plastic within the silver handle is somewhat loose. The pen does not currently have ink so it is not possible to test if it functions properly.

Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
