A Peridot, Pink Stone and Split Pearl Brooch
realistically modelled as a spider, comprising of an oval cut pink stone body, a round cut peridot head and split pearl eyes, in yellow millegrain settings, with plain polished legs
measures 3.5cm by 2.9cm
Sold for £220
Estimated at £200 - £300
The brooch is in fair condition, there is evidence of lead solder to the reverse and chips to each of the peridot and pink stone. The identification of the pink stone is undeterminable due to the limitations of the setting. It fastens with a pin and C-hook catch. It bears no hallmark nor stamp but in our opinion would test as gold. Gross weight 5.2 grams. CR made 01.08.23.
