Circa 1920-40s Ladies Costume, comprising a floral printed velvet long sleeve open jacket; black velvet evening jacket with lapels, single button fastening and flared long sleeves and pink corsage; black silk long sleeve dress with jewelled neckline, net mounted skirt with silk cummerband; grey wool tailored coat with lapels, single breasted with three buttons, side pockets with stylised pocket fronts; Diego Model black wool fitted jacket, with patch pockets, single button fastening and long sleeves; black silk long sleeve top, and three other shirts; black grosgrain straight wrap skirt with button fastening, two others (12)

Velvet jackets - both have rubbing and wear to the velvet. Black dress - net added later and has wear and small holes, cummerband needs re-stitching, slight wear. Grey coat - slight fading and wear, hole to one pocket and lining faded. Black jacket - slight wear. Shirts - black one has a couple of small holes and wear, others slight discolouration. Grosgrain skirt - ok, others one has broken zip and other tear down seam and slight wear.

Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.

Viewing

Wednesday 17 August - Thursday 18 August 10am-4pm, Friday 19 August 10am-5pm and morning of sale from 8am. Viewing is open to the public, there is no need to make an appointment.
