Temple, (Henry John, 3rd Viscount Palmerston).
Six signed letters, from Lord Palmerston to British Ambassadors and Envoys in Europe, introducing Mr [John] Wild and recommending him for their protection and good offices.
All in signed envelopes, three opened, three sealed and unread, the letters are part printed with manuscript insertions and dated 1834 (it is assumed that the sealed letters are for the same purpose).
With four manuscript letters to John Wild from ? Smith, two other manuscript letters, an envelope titled 'Picked up on the Field of Waterloo 1815', a menu and dance card, a press cutting relating to John Wild's letter collection and a ms. note, housed in ring folder
