shaped oblong, the front engraved with a view of Westminster Abbey, probably after the engraving by William Gaspey, published in 1851, within foliage scrolls, the hinged cover engraved with initials, the reverse engraved with birds drinking at a fountain and within foliage

Fully marked on bezel. The marks are generally clear. There is some surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The back is somewhat bruised towards the hinge and on the cover.
