Assorted 1940s and Later Ladies' Day Wear, comprising a H E Salter Ltd Hull blue and brown wool checked two piece suit, with stylised deep pockets to the jacket with attached belt and straight skirt, bearing the Utility Double Lines Label; brown and black checked two piece suit with double breasted jacket and velvet trimmed collar; navy wool dress with pleated skirt, buttons to the bodice, detachable white collar, with belt; black CC41 wool crepe dress, later collar, pleat detail to the hips and bodice; black crepe v neck dress with button detail below the bust; Fashion Fayre patterned jersey dress with three quarter sleeves, pleated boat shaped neck; Dorothy Ward Ltd brown and black geometric designed jersey dress with v neckline and pleated skirt; Rosie Frock plum crepe short sleeved dress with wriggle work applique to the shoulders and waist, pleated skirt and bow brooch (size 44); Brenner grey and cream checked duster coat with side pockets, round collar with pleated detail to the reverse and tab fastening; Jaycliff grey and brown multi striped double breasted coat with front pockets, pleated to the reverse (10)

. H E Salter suit - some staining to the armholes on the lining and small holes, slight wear overall. Brown and black checked suit - some wear overall. Navy wool dress - some wear, couple of thread pulls and collar is stained, loose stitches to the seams. CC41 black dress - couple of tiny holes near one sleeve, loose stitches near the collar, thread pulls and wear. Black crepe v neckline dress - darned repair under one arms, hand stitching removed to the back, some small white spots to the front (may come off) and wear. Fashion Fayre dress - couple of small holes to the reverse, slight wear. Dorothy Ward Ltd - belt missing, couple of small holes to the back of the neck and slight wear/fading. Rosie Frock dress - slight wear overall, stitched repair to the v neckline. Brenner duster coat - some discolouration and slight wear. Jaycliff coat - slight wear.

Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
