Many thousands of stamps of all periods on well over 1000 stockcards, from an Anglesey estate, including mint/MNH sets and occasional better items. Highlights are Australia roos 10/- used and Ash imprint pairs 6d mint and 9d MNH, New Zealand smiling boy set used, Canada 1897 jubilee six mint values to 10cts, GB with a few good cds surface-printed, cds 5/- seahorse, 1936 2/- booklet (edition 356), MNH 1939 10/- and 1951 high values set, France incl. 1926 10fr Merson MNH though toned gum, 1948 Braille imperf colour trials, etc, and much other useful worldwide incl. China mint sets with 1978 galloping horses. Condition varies on earlier issues. Please inspect.

261 lots including several exciting original collections fresh to the market. Highlights include a specialised collection of St. Helena stamps and postal history, and a very extensive and impressive holding of Russian postal history with a particular focus on the Post Offices Abroad. The latter collector’s interests also extended through the Baltics to excellent Scandinavian Locals, as well as around the Eastern Mediterranean from the Balkans to Palestine and Egypt.
Amongst the postcards offered in the sale are fantastic albums from a dedicated collector, of high-quality and comprehensively assembled, which include transport related cards of Leeds, Skipton, Lancaster, Teesside and Middlesbrough as well as excellent general Yorkshire cards.
