A Circa 1976 Vivienne Westwood & Malcolm McLaren Seditionary 'Destroy' Long Sleeved T-Shirt, in a cream muslin with slashed neckline, exaggerated long sleeves, printed in blue, green and black, bearing the black fabric label; together with Black Cotton Kilt with clip fastenings to the side (2)
Owned and worn by the former Penny Jones known as Penny the Punk, who would often be spotted in Harrogate with her trademark white dyed spiked hair.

The range was created and sold from 1976-1981, it combined all the subversive elements from the designs of Westwood and McLaren, including ripped garments, leather, chains, badges, straps and buckles.

Difficult to see the damage, as to how much was produced like this. However the applied hem to the front and back of the t-shirt has ripped and worn and coming away to part of the seam, slight staining to the sleeves holes, to the back and some wear overall, thread pulls etc. Top measures 19'' armpit to armpit. Kilt; very faded, some staining and overall wear
