A Japanese Daisho of a Chise Katana and a Wakizashi, Late Koto, the shakudo mounts decorated with birds and flowers on a nanako ground, each with bronze tsuba pierced and worked with a dragon amidst cloud bands, the Katana has a 57cm unsigned steel blade with billowing hamon, (nick to edge and tip), two piece white metal habaki with diagonal burred decoration, black braid bound same hilt with fruit decorated menuki and black lacquer saya; the Wakizashi has a 46.5cm unsigned steel blade with two mekugi an and undulating hamon, one piece white metal habaki with diagonal burred decoration, black braid bound same hilt with lion dog menuki, the black lacquer saya with signed kozuka, each with brocade wrap (2)
