A George IV Needlework Sampler, by Mary Blythe of Hawes, North Yorkshire, Aged 10 Years, Dated August 3rd 1824, worked centrally with a gold and green house, twinned deer either side upon the lawn, surrounded by a symmetrical design of owls upon trees, crowns, birds, urn of flowers and plants, the alphabet upper section followed by a religious verse, in later rosewood frame, 44cm by 35cm
