An 18 Carat Gold Ruby and Diamond Brooch and Earring Suite
an eight-cut diamond in a white rubbed over setting, within a border of round cut rubies in yellow claw settings, to yellow textured petals, earrings with clip and post fittings
brooch measures 3.7cm diameter, earrings measure 2.4cm diameter

The pieces are in good condition with slight chips/nibbles to some of the rubies, there is evidence of lead solder to the reverse of the earrings . The brooch fastens with a pin and revolver catch and features a safety chain. The brooch is hallmarked with maker's mark 'RHB', Birmingham (import), 1961. The earrings are hallmarked with maker's mark 'GS', Birmingham, date letter is illegible. Gross weight 22.4 grams. CR made 29.07.24.
