Taxidermy: A Large Cased North American Lynx & Coyote, circa 1872, by Henry Shaw, Taxidermy, Salop, a full mount adult North American Lynx in crouched position with head turning to the left, stood upon a painted rock ledge, above a full mount adult Coyote below with head turning to the right, with mouth agape, amidst a natural setting of ferns and fauna, set upon painted groundwork, mounted against a pale blue painted back drop, enclosed within a large oak framed three-glass floor standing display case, 129.5cm, 49cm, 116cm, bearing copper shield - ''Lynx Coyote, British Columbia, A.H.P, 1878''. Signed to interior floor H. Shaw. 72.
