A Collection of Twenty-Six Victorian and Edward VII Silver, Gilt Plate or Bronze Equestrian Medals
Twenty-Four Struck by Mappin and Webb, London, Nine With Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1903, 1905, 1906, 1906, 1907, 1908 and 1909

twenty struck on one side with a galloping horse and 'Hackney Horse Society', the other side struck with a figure on horseback in traditional costume, 9 hallmarked silver, 8 without hallmarks, either silver or silver plate, 2 gilt plated and without hallmarks and one bronze; four struck on one side with a galloping horse and 'Hackney Horse Society', the other side engraved with an inscription, dated 1890, 1892 and 1894 all within foliage, 3 without hallmarks, either silver or silver plate and 1 bronze; another stamped on one side with a trophy cup and cover and 'Elsenham Challenge Cup', the other side stamped and enamelled with an inscription dated 1889 and a Yorkshire Agricultural Society token, dated 1837, all contained in an oak wall hanging display cabinet with hinged glazed cover

There are surface scratches and wear overall as well as some minor bruises to some. There is some some scratching and chips to the oak case.
