Great Britain, collection 1840 to 1990, housed in two Windsor albums, line-engraved is used, then generally mint/never hinged from 1887 onwards. A very pleasant collection incl. 4-margin penny black (possible thin spot by wmk), 1d red plates only missing a handful to 218 with very few faults, 2d blue plates, etc, through to a wonderful showing of KGV Downey heads fresh mint incl. SG.323 MNH (cat.£300 for hinged), SG.326 vlh, SG.331 MNH, SG.333 vlh, etc. Also good range of early QEII defins with varieties, useful back of book, etc.
