2 x Early 19th Century Provincial Banknotes comprising: Newark Bank £5, dated 13 Jan 1809 for Pocklington, Dickinson & Company; several folds & creases & a few pinholes around Newark Bank emblem; 'Commission of Bankrupcy' notice on rev. with signatures in ink (visible on obv.), no pieces missing & no edge tears, overall an attractive note Fine or+, together with Kirkby Stephen & Westmoreland £1 dated 2 November 1807 for 'Jn & Wm Dand & Co,' creases, ingrained dirt & irregular edge but no pieces missing, unfortunately this note is glued to a piece of card, Good to VG
