Varied accumulation in three containers (from the same holding as Lots 7, 10, 15, 16, 18, 37, 56, 157 and 187), many thousands of stamps of all periods as well as postal history, altogether in over twenty volumes, the GB part with approx. £300 face value mostly in 2000s sets and prestige booklets, also noted a small box with approx. 100 pristine booklets, mostly GB incl. pre-decimal, plus Uganda 10/- flowers x7, Southern Rhodesia and Japan, then a binder has further booklets incl. dozens of Canada from 1943 on and further GB incl. 1978 70p dry-stone walling type A (FD4A, cat. £250 2008), a small box of official presentation booklets etc, as well as US plate number singles and blocks on cover 1939 onwards, Romania 1956 animals set in MNH imperf pairs (SG.2474/85 cat. £150 2009), lots of China, etc, etc. Will be much here to discover.

261 lots including several exciting original collections fresh to the market. Highlights include a specialised collection of St. Helena stamps and postal history, and a very extensive and impressive holding of Russian postal history with a particular focus on the Post Offices Abroad. The latter collector’s interests also extended through the Baltics to excellent Scandinavian Locals, as well as around the Eastern Mediterranean from the Balkans to Palestine and Egypt.
Amongst the postcards offered in the sale are fantastic albums from a dedicated collector, of high-quality and comprehensively assembled, which include transport related cards of Leeds, Skipton, Lancaster, Teesside and Middlesbrough as well as excellent general Yorkshire cards.
