Moleskin coat - Patches or wear to the moleskin, particularly around the edges, a hole in the seam where the collar joins the moleskin, a wear to the collar and a small hole, fraying to the lining particularly near the hem and edges
Townsdale coat - Three small hole to the lining near collar, stitching around buttonhole is coming undone slightly, there is a small hole in the armhole lining where two ties are attached
Third black coat - Several holes to the lining and one seam coming undone slightly
Brown jacket - Possibly had collar and cuffs removed as patches of stitching remaining
Straw hats - Some staining and discolouration the hat bands of both hats, the band inside the cream hat is coming undone, a mended hole to the black hat
Floral hankie - one frayed edge
Brown leather bag with gold coloured clasp - several scratches and wear to leather, some staining to fabric sections of lining
Similar bag - general wear all over with spot marks to front and back
Third brown bag - badly scuffed with large scratch to front,two hole where missing fastenings would have been, missing patch of leather to underside of flap, front pocket missing stitching, indents to sides where metal has rubbed against the leather, missing leather tab from clasp, has key, holes in internal pocket lining, wear, splits and scratches to internal leather
Blue bad - Scuffing to bottom corners, scratched to gold tone metal parts
Checked bag - generall scuffing, indents around the fastening from the press stud and some staining to the lining
Woolwork purse - some small sections of missing stitched, trim coming away from purse, staining and discolouration to the lining
Fan - discolouration and staining all over, sections of missing goldwork stitching and sections of the remaining metal is tarnished
Two small purses, one suede the other red and a heart shaped silver coloured compact

Auction: Costume, Accessories & Textiles, 9th Feb, 2024
A host of beautiful 18th and 19th century costume and accessories redolent of the English Country House will go under the hammer in the Costume, Accessories and Textiles Sale on 9th February, including a rare set of 19th century men's livery uniforms, a group of parasols which once belonged to Princess Mary, Countess of Harewood and daughter of George V, 18th century silk shoes and dresses, a 1930s lady's motoring outfit and a carved knitting stick inscribed 'Rudding Park', the fine Georgian manor on the outskirts of Harrogate.
Also of note in the sale is a circa 1911 Steiff teddy bear, and a good collection of Lace from a Private Collection, which includes fine examples of Late 19th Century Irish Youghal Needle Lace, Late 19th Century Swiss Whitework Lace, and Early 20th Century Honiton Lace.
