Assorted Circa 1930s Peach Coloured Evening Dresses, comprising a collared dress with puff sleeves, green and pink velvet ribbon bow to the neckline and hook and eye and press stud fastenings to the left side,
a sleeveless dress, woven with leaf motifs, with matching belt and sequin emellished bag
a dark pink satin type sleeveless evening dress with zip to the reverse,
a blue green and cream printed floral dress with puff sleeves, smocked bodice and gathered trim to the hem, together with a matching bolero jacket,
a sleeveless dress with floral detail to the front created by couched threads to the reverse then stiched on the front to look like corded quilting, net trim to the hem, low back and cut out details to the straps at the reverse,
another sleeveless example with v-neckline and gathered trim to the skirt

A host of beautiful 18th and 19th century costume and accessories redolent of the English Country House will go under the hammer in the Costume, Accessories and Textiles Sale on 9th February, including a rare set of 19th century men's livery uniforms, a group of parasols which once belonged to Princess Mary, Countess of Harewood and daughter of George V, 18th century silk shoes and dresses, a 1930s lady's motoring outfit and a carved knitting stick inscribed 'Rudding Park', the fine Georgian manor on the outskirts of Harrogate.
Also of note in the sale is a circa 1911 Steiff teddy bear, and a good collection of Lace from a Private Collection, which includes fine examples of Late 19th Century Irish Youghal Needle Lace, Late 19th Century Swiss Whitework Lace, and Early 20th Century Honiton Lace.
