Official (SG.O22), single usage on Somerset House 'On His Britannic Majesty's Service' stationery entire, addressed c/o the famous furniture company Waring and Gillows in Paris. The adhesive with rich colour and fortunately unaffected by rough opening at top, tied by heavy but legible London cds 25/1/04. Arrival marks on reverse indistinct. Listed in SG for off-cover single £280 but unpriced for on-cover. No doubt a very scarce, potentially extremely rare cover in wonderful natural and correct context. Our estimate is merely an absolute minimum opening, due to lack of precedent that we can find. See photo.
