A Set of 4 x Sterling Silver Medals Commemorating the Churchill Centenary 1974, the obverses each depict a different portrait of Churchill by David Norris together with 4 x different reverses & comprise (1) obv. facing bust, bare-headed & wearing a bow-tie, rev. view of entrance to 10 Downing Street, (2) obv.facing bust in naval uniform & smoking a cigar, rev. view of Blenheim Palace, (3) bare-headed bust looking right & wearing a siren suit, rev. view of Chequers House & (4) smiling bust looking left & wearing a homburg & bow-tie, rev. view of Chartwell Manor; each medal 45mm, slight variation in weights 32.6g to 34.1g; issued by Toye, Kenning & Spencer, in a limited edition of 1.000 sets (this set No.705, edge stamped), each medal edge hallmarked Birmingham 1974; in fitted case of issue, with certificate of authenticity, some peripheral blue/gold toning o/wise as issued
