Early 20th Century Ladies Costume comprising a black dress with lace inserts to the front, back and sleeves, decorative fabric covered buttons to the sleeves and a tie at the waist,
a black short sleeved dress with scrolling embroidered detail to the neck with cutout sections backed with net, a gathered skirt with pleated detail and a tie at the waist,
a long sleeved black dress with shawl type collar and button and loop details to the neck,
another black dress with lines of pin tucks to the bodice, sleeves and hem, a white insert to the neck, elasticated cuffs with satin type inserts,
two grey coats, one with a single button fastening and pleated trim to the collar and sleeves, the other with hook and bar brooch fastening and embroidered pockets to the lapels,

A host of beautiful 18th and 19th century costume and accessories redolent of the English Country House will go under the hammer in the Costume, Accessories and Textiles Sale on 9th February, including a rare set of 19th century men's livery uniforms, a group of parasols which once belonged to Princess Mary, Countess of Harewood and daughter of George V, 18th century silk shoes and dresses, a 1930s lady's motoring outfit and a carved knitting stick inscribed 'Rudding Park', the fine Georgian manor on the outskirts of Harrogate.
Also of note in the sale is a circa 1911 Steiff teddy bear, and a good collection of Lace from a Private Collection, which includes fine examples of Late 19th Century Irish Youghal Needle Lace, Late 19th Century Swiss Whitework Lace, and Early 20th Century Honiton Lace.
