the thirty-nine black cultured pearls to a white plain polished clasp, the earrings of similar form, with post fittings; and the thirty-eight cream cultured pearls to a yellow plain polished clasp, the earrings formed of mabe pearls in a yellow rope twist border, with post fittings
necklace lengths 46cm
The necklaces are in good condition however we cannot guarantee the integrity of the string. The black cultured pearl earrings are loose and one of the cream earrings is lacking a butterfly. Both necklaces fasten with magnetic clasps. The mabe pearl earrings are hallmarked for 9 carat gold, 'BCLd', Birmingham (import), 1987. The two necklaces are stamped '925' and in our opinion would test as silver. The black cultured pearl earrings bear no hallmark nor stamp. Gross weight 158.6 grams. CR made 22.07.22.
