Field Marshall Montgomery's D-Day Bluff - An Observer's and Air Gunner's Flying Log Book, to 53266 Flight Officer Donald Rawnsley RAF, with numerous entries from 10.6.42 to 31.8.45, including one for 26.5.44 from Northalt to Gibralter, which records Lieutenant Clifton James of the Royal Army Pay Corps as a passenger. James, who was Montgomery's double, was sent to deceive Hitler's High Command. Fascist agents by way of Spain transmitted the news to Berlin that Montgomery was away from his invasion base, thus confusing the Germans who were taken by complete surprise by the D-Day invasion. The log book is accompanied by a book - 'I Was Monty's Double' by M.E.Clifton James, with a dedication and signed by the author, a hand written letter by the same, and a related newspaper cutting.

Between 1942 and 1945, this officer served with 202 Squadron, 511 Squadron and 246 Squadron, flying in Defiant, Sunderland, Catalina, Liberator III, York and C87 aircraft.

The Ethnographica section includes is a Collection of Inuit Art comprising knives, weapons, utensils and decorative objects
