Paris, [1933], numbered limited edition of 25 thus, presentation inscription from the author to Mussolini, quarter morocco binding retaining original wraps;
Dornis (Jean), Essai sur Gabriele D'Annunzio.

Both books were obtained by Captain H. Richard Beck R.A. who spent time at Mussolini's Villa Carpena towards the end of WWII when it was used as Squadron HQ. The books were sold alongside other effects from the villa in 1998 by H.C. Chapman. A copy of the catalogue and a relevant extract from Capt. Beck's memoirs is included in the lot.
