Circa 1970s Morton Myles for Malcolm Charles Faux Animal Print Coat, on a velvet type ground, notched collar, patch pockets, lined; Circa 2000s Etro 'Tapestry' Style Coat, woven in pink, black, yellow and cream, notched collar, single button fastening, split double vent to the reverse, vent and sleeveholes trimmed with black ribbon woven with roses, lined, (size EU46) (2)

Morton Myles (1929-2001) was an American fashion designer who flourished throughout the 1960-80s, he embraced the Op Art design ethics creating geometric shapes for his chic dresses under the label Jeunesse initially. His name was 'made' when Jackie Kennedy was photographed wearing one of his dresses on Good Friday in Palm Beach, Florida

Morton Myles - belt missing, stitched repairs and wear to the lining, some of hook and eye fastenings missing, rubbing under the arms and to the front edges of the coat, some wear overall, 42" bust.


Etro coat - some thread pulls, rubbing to the button hole and front edges, and slight wear overall.

Viewing

Wednesday 17 August - Thursday 18 August 10am-4pm, Friday 19 August 10am-5pm and morning of sale from 8am. Viewing is open to the public, there is no need to make an appointment.
