shaped oval and on conforming foot, the rim with a band of engraved acorns and foliage and with an overhead swing handle, each side engraved with a cartouche, one further engraved with an initial

Marked underneath. Date letter lacking. There is some minor wear to the marks. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a softening to the engraving. The base is bruised and so the bowl rocks when placed on a flat surface. The engraved initial is 'R'.
