. Each piece is marked on back of handle. There is some wear to the marks, though with the exception of the maker's marks on six of the dessert-forks they are generally legible. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as wear the tips of the bowls and the tines. Some pieces have probably been erased. The table-forks: by George Maudsley Jackson, 1895 The table-spoons: four by Joseph & Albert Savory, 3 1835 and 1 1843; two by Henry Holland, 1861; one by George Adams, 1852 and one by Robert Stebbings, 1909 The dessert-forks: six maker's mark rubbed, 1831 and two by Francis Higgins, 1854 The dessert-spoons: by Joseph & Albert Savory, 1835 The teaspoons: five by Henry John Lias & James Wakely, 1878; three Exeter, 2 1870 and 1 1869 The sauce-ladle: Exeter, 1825
