A George IV, William IV and Victorian Silver Table-Service, Mostly by William Eaton, London, 1844, Fiddle pattern, engraved with an initial, comprising: 8 table-forks 7 table-spoons, one with differing initial 12 dessert-forks, one with differing engraving 11 dessert-spoons, one with differing engraving 9 teaspoons, eight unengraved or with differing engraving 2 condiment-spoons A basting-spoon 84oz 4dwt, 2,618gr (50)

. Each piece is marked on handle. There is some wear to the marks. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The wear is noticeable as a softening to the engraving and to the tips of the bowls and the tines. There are some noticeable bruises to the bowl of one dessert-spoon. The table-forks: seven by William Eaton, 1844 and one Birmingham, 1821. The table-spoons:six by William Eaton, 1844 and one by George Adams, 1873. The dessert-forks: seven by William Eaton, 1844, one by William Eaton, 1838; one by Mary Chawner, 1835 and three by Benjamin Stephens, 1838. The dessert-spoons: ten by William Eaton, 1844 and one by William Eaton, 1821. The teaspons: eight by Hayne and Cator, 7 1837 and 1 1844; two Scottish provincial. The condiment-spoons: by William Eaton, 1844. The basting-spoon: by William Eaton, 1844.
