Two other known examples are both marked for Edinburgh, 1707 and are respectively by Mungo Yorstoun and, in common with the present spoon, James Tait.

Estimated at £700 - £1,000

Marked on back of bowl with maker's mark, assay masters mark, Edinburgh mark and date letter 'B'. There is some wear to the marks but in general they are legible. There is overall some surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. The surface is somewhat bright.
