A Set of 2 x Gold Replicas of Stamps Commemorating Sir Winston Churchill; the original commemorative stamps were issued in 1965, one for 1 shilling & threepence (1s/3d) & one for fourpence (4d), each featuring a portrait of Churchill; the 1s/3d replica weighs 20.20g & the 4d replica 20.10g (1.29oz), both 18ct gold (hallmarked on reverses); in a felt & satin-lined Metalimport fitted case, with certificate of authenticity, BU as issued; also included is a First Day Cover with the original Churchill stamps franked ‘First Day of Issue 8 July 1965’.
