The pieces are in good condition. They fasten with tongue and box catches, and both feature a figure-of-eight safety clasp. They are inscribed 'Van Cleef & Arpels' but are not sold as such. The bracelet is stamped '18K', the necklace has stamps which have not been identified. In our opinion both pieces would test as gold. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour I/J/K, clarity I1/I2/I3. Gross weight 173.2 grams. CR made 26th May 2016

Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
