A Set of Six Chinese Export Silver Chopstick-Rests
Retailed by Ye Chang, Tianjin, Early 20th Century

each circular and with plain rim, engraved with the badge of the Lancashire Fusiliers, the centre set with a sycee or yuanbao ingot
15cm diameter, 22oz 19dwt, 713gr (6)

Provenance:
Presumably acquired by the 1st Battalion, Lancashire Fusiliers while posted to China in the 1930s.
Sold by Order of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers to Benefit the Fusiliers' Aid Society.

Each marked with maker's/retailers mark under rim and further stamped 'Sterling'. There is some overall surface scratching and wear as well as some bruising overall.
