The Royal George: An Oak Coffin Shape Snuff Box, 19th century, made from copper and oak recovered from The Royal George, the double hinged lid inset with skull and crossbones and Memento Mori, and a plaque below with inscription Wood & copper from Royal George, Sunk Spithead "¦. Recovered "¦, 1.2cm long; and A Pressed Horn Circular Snuff Box, Spanish Colonial, early 19th century, the lid worked with shaking hands over a pair of conjoined hearts and inscription Bella Uniao, 7cm diameter (a label inside inscribed Snuff box made by a black man in India for Mr Cornell - 88) (2)

Royal George snuff box - metalwork oxidising and slightly rubbed. The wooden previously mouldy, still damp. Lid insecure. Horn snuff box - good overall, just typical wear and tear. 050110
