The necklace is in good condition commensurate with age. The amethysts are open backed and there is slight zoning visible along with natural inclusions. The largest amethyst measures 11.88mm x 8.35mm x 6.35mm approximately. It fastens with a tongue and box catch and features a safety chain. It bears no hallmark nor stamp but in our opinion would test as gold. Gross weight 24.3 grams. CR made 19.11.21.

Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
