‘The Craven Bank Limited’ comprising 2 x late 19th century unissued £20 sight notes, both 188*, payable ‘Twenty One Days after date’ (1) unnumbered, issuing branch Long Preston, ‘To Mess Dinsdale, Fowler & Co, Bankers, London’ duty stamp for three pence to right, bull in field to left & (2) unnumbered, issuing branch Skipton, ‘To Mess Dinsdale, Fowler & Co’ overprinted in red with names of new London agents ‘PRESCOTT, DIMSDALE, CAVE, TUGWELL & Co., LIMITED,’ bull in field to left; both notes with vertical folds/creases, edges with slight wear, AVF to VF.
