. The ring is in good condition, however the surface of the sapphire is rubbed and there are chips evident. It is stamped '18CT' and in our opinion would test as gold. The sapphire measures 12.65mm x 9.62mm x 7.60mm approximately= 8.5 carat approximately. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour I/J/K, clarity SI1/SI2/I1. Gross weight 5.5 grams. CR made 21.05.21.

We are happy to provide Condition Reports to prospective buyers, but would welcome your request as soon as possible, preferably at least 48 hours before the Day of Sale. Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
