JW Benson: A 9 Carat Gold Wristwatch, retailed by J.W.Benson, London, 1959, (calibre R.458) manual wound lever movement signed Cyma and numbered 609409, silvered dial with Arabic numerals, seconds dial, unusual shaped curved lugs, snap-on back with an engraved presentation inscription, inside back cover with maker's mark ALD and numbered 13851 984881, Birmingham gold hallmark for 1959

Case with surface scratches, case back with an engraved presentation inscription "Presented to Wm W Lambe by the directors of John Wyeth & Brother Limited on the occasion of his retirement after 18 years service with the company 31.7.61", later crown is worn, dial with small scratches and very fine spotting staining marks which are only visible under an eyeglass, later strap and buckle, hand setting correctly and winding smoothly, movement in going order.
