Taxidermy: A Late Victorian Display of South American Tropical Birds, circa 1870-1900, a typical high-quality colourful display of twenty four various tropical birds, to include - Spangled cotinga, two Paradise tanagers, Red-necked tanager, Guianan red cotinga, two Green honeycreepers, Blue dacnis, Speckled tanager, Purple honeycreeper, Turquoise tanager, Yellow oriole, Bay-headed tanager, Red-rumped cacique, together with ten various Hummingbirds, including a Ruby topaz, and Rufous crested coquette, all mounted upon and around a centrally positioned branch, enclosed beneath an associated oval glass dome, supported on a mahogany vaneered base, raised on four squat feet, 42cm by 20cm by 64cm

Dome is associated and ill fitting. all bird specimens hold strong original colours, no evidence of any moth or insect damage, treated with insecticidal spray, 23/10/23
